Canned food processing company "Rosība" was
founded in 1992 on the basis of the kolkhoz called "Ezerciems", which
first activities dates back to 1982. Kolkhoz “Ezerciems” was the first ones who
started to manufacture table horseradish in Latvia.
Our factory is located in a cultural and historical place called Inciems, in the manor area which was mentioned and described by Anšlavs Eglītis (famous Latvian writer) in novel "Pansija pilī".
During the Soviet times of 1962, the collective farm added production building to the main farm building and canned food manufacturing had started. The first products that was produced were apple wine and beer. Later, the assortment was expanded to include such products as table horseradish, pickled cabbage, tomatoes and tomato sauces.
One of the company's most valuable and recognizable product is table horseradish, which is awarded with local quality label "Bordo karotīte". This and other quality certificates have been earned by our other products as well.
